ISDI Virtual Events Series

ISDI is pleased to announce the launch of a virtual event series on policy and regulatory issues related to special dietary foods.

These virtual events over the course of 2021 will bring together a first class faculty of international speakers from authorities, academia and industry. They will share their knowledge and experience on a comprehensive range of topical issues relating to special dietary foods:

  • NCDs & malnutrition
  • Infant nutrition (innovations, nutrient deficiencies)
  • Regulatory environment (complementary foods, baby formula)
  • Food safety (additives, contaminants)
  • Medical nutrition (stability of nutrients in FSMPs)
  • Analytical methods

ISDI aims to connect experts in infant, medical and special dietary foods from across the globe.

It goes beyond an online seminar experience – it’s designed to bring the special dietary foods community together in new and exciting ways at a time when staying connected matters most.

The programme is spread over the year and will include two events per quarter, packed with world-class experts, panel discussions, engaging breakout discussions, special social hours, and more.

Each event will typically last 60 minutes to accommodate the participation of experts across the globe in different time zones and will last a maximum of 2.5 hours.

There will be opportunities for interaction and engagement through special tools and techniques in order to nurture current relationships and build new ones. We are developing the programme in a flexible way and will provide you with more insights upon request.

The thematics are built around the current topics which are being addressed within ISDI. The events can therefore have a different nature: informative, exchange of views, starting further internal reflection.
